ホテルで少し休んでから、夕日を見に、Phu Si hillへ。
入場料20,000キープ。
入場料いるって聞いてませんけど！？
観光名所だからか、みんな夕陽に向かって黙々と長い長い階段を登り続ける。
マチュピチュのクスコ村を思い出す。
あの街も良かった。良すぎて延泊したもんね。笑
実は、９月のラオスは雨季らしい。
確かに、iphoneの天気アプリを見ても一日雨予報だったのだが、友人たちに「太陽神」と呼ばれるだけあって晴れていた。
太陽を見れるだけでラッキーかと思いつつも、
太陽はどこで見ても一緒やなあ
と当たり前のことを思ったりもして、
今日は疲れたし、もうホテルで休もう。とまた
長い階段を下ってかえっていった。
こうして、目的地ルアンパバーンにあっさりついた。
行く前までの不安と勇気はなんだったんだと思うほどに。
自分が旅に慣れたのか、ルアンパバーンが比較的、東南アジアでは過ごしやすい街なのかは、わからない。笑

After taking a short rest at the hotel, I headed to Phu Si hill to watch the sunset. The entrance fee is 20,000 kip. I didn’t know there was an entrance fee!
It seems to be a popular tourist attraction, as everyone silently climbs the long staircase towards the setting sun.
It reminds me of the village of Cusco in Machu Picchu. That town was also wonderful. It was so good that I ended up extending my stay. Haha.
Actually, September is the rainy season in Laos. It was indeed forecasted to rain all day on my iPhone weather app, but since they call it the “Sun God,” it was sunny.
Although I consider myself lucky to see the sun, I realize that the sun looks the same no matter where you see it. It’s just something ordinary to think about. I was tired today, so I decided to go back to the hotel and rest. And off I went, descending the long staircase again.
And so, I arrived in Luang Prabang, my destination, quite easily. I think all the anxiety and bravery I had before going were for nothing. I don’t know if I’ve become more accustomed to traveling or if Luang Prabang is just a relatively comfortable city to spend time in Southeast Asia. Haha.
